Best moments of 2015 edition of Kalios d'Or

The 2015 edition of the Kalios d’Or took place this Sunday, July 5 at Vincennes. Over 300 chefs have responded to the invitation of Chantzios brothers, agreeing to leave their restaurant for a day to compete bocce.

After 4 matches, a semifinal and a final, the team "The Epicuriales Liege" mounted on the first step of the podium.

All guests have also enjoyed numerous tastings organized as part of a chic picnic tastier.

Kalios, olive oil chefs !

Collected and sorted by hand in the southern Peloponnese, mono-varietal olive Koroneiki used by Kalios are made within 6h to the mill to obtain a pure olive juice exception. Each oil has been selected and sponsored by a top chef.

Oil 01 "Character" by Christophe Aribert: The aromas are intense and scents reminiscent of almonds and prunes. The quality of this olive oil is reflected in its low bitterness with acidity at around 0.32%.

Oil 02 "Balance" by Eric Guerin: The aromas sail between green fruit and ripe fruit. Vegetal notes of hay and artichoke give an exquisite softness in oil.

Oil 03 "Sweetness" by Yann Tanneau: On the palate, it offers an incredible aromatic richness that a predominantly floral and candied fruit escape.
