KarmaKin was born from a vague post-travel idea. It was when I had my feet in the sand, gaze towards the ocean, tanned skin and blossoming heart that the idea came to me - without any warning, initial thought or pressure.
I decided at that very moment that I was going to start an online business related to my passion. A vague idea, broad, but so certain and confident. I didn't know how, I didn't know the details, but my head, my heart and my soul were in perfect harmony with that decision. My intuition was strong and there was no doubt; I was coming back to Montreal and making my project happen. One way or another.
I hired experts in areas in which I was not so good (I wrote 'was', because I've learned so much in the past few months, that I don't consider myself 'bad' anymore at all) - programming, technology , marketing, business strategy, financial planning, etc. The name KarmaKin came to me quickly; after all, it represents me so much and it's really what I believe and preach in my everyday life, so despite some doubts at first, it was easy to adopt the name. But around the name, I had to create everything and put into action precisely the vague idea I had on that beach a month earlier. A mission, a customer experience, services, packages, a technological platform, budget, marketing strategies, but MOST OF ALL ... a philosophy.
